Community Investment
The Terracon Foundation strives to become a real part of the lives of Terracon employees and the communities we serve. The Terracon Foundation gives through community and university grants and a national partner grant each year.
In 2008, Terracon partnered with Greater Horizons, a charitable foundation based in Kansas City, Missouri, to establish a corporate philanthropy initiative, the Terracon Foundation. The Foundation has since expanded and now includes a formal focus on education and the built and natural environment. In that context, the goal is to reach out and become a real part of the lives of our employees and the communities we serve.
The Terracon Foundation gives in the following ways:
- Employee Matching Gift Program
To support the philanthropic interests and contributions of our employees. - Community Grants
To support local, nonprofit programs in our communities with active engagement of Terracon employees. - University Grants
To support scholarships, programs, projects, equipment and more in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. - Employee Dependent Scholarships Newly Expanded
To provide the children and eligible dependents of employees the opportunity to continue their education through tuition assistance.
The Foundation also supports natural disaster relief efforts.
