Terracon Foundation Awards Over $192,300 in University and Community Grants

OLATHE, Kan. — The Terracon Foundation today announced the award of $192,300 in grants and scholarships to 13 universities and 17 not-for-profit organizations throughout the U.S. Established as the community investment arm of Terracon, the foundation has granted nearly $4 million to community organizations, universities, scholarships for dependents of employees, and disaster relief efforts.

“The Terracon Foundation continues to be impressed with our employee-owners, who diligently champion grants for the nonprofits and schools near and dear to their hearts,” said Scott Kolodziej, P.G., chair of the Terracon Foundation and assistant environmental service line director based in the Dallas office. “Their commitment to our value of caring allows us to support engineering schools, youth STEM education, and more.”

The Terracon Foundation presented a total of $132,500 to 13 universities:

  • Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colo.
  • Columbus State University, Columbus, Ga.
  • North Carolina State University, Raleigh, N.C.
  • St. Louis University, St. Louis, Mo.
  • Tennessee Tech University, Cookeville, Tenn.
  • Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas
  • The University of Texas Permian Basin, Odessa, Texas
  • The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, McAllen, Texas
  • University of Arizona, Tucson, Ariz.
  • University of California Davis, Davis, Calif.
  • University of California Riverside, Riverside, Calif.

The Terracon Foundation awarded more than $59,800 in community grants to 17 nonprofit organizations:
