Terracon Names Janet Keiser Vice President and National Director for Transportation and Infrastructure

OLATHE, Kan.Terracon, a leading national consulting engineering firm comprised of engineers, scientists, architects, facilities experts, and field professionals, announces Janet Keiser, P.E., PTOE, has been named vice president and national director for Transportation and Infrastructure.

This key position supports client service, innovation, and project delivery as the company builds on its strong presence in the transportation and infrastructure sector. Drawing on a 30-year career in transportation, Keiser will lead strategic growth for Terracon teams across the country. As a well-known leader in the industry, Keiser serves professionally with the Intelligent Transportation Society, Women’s Transportation Seminar, Institute of Transportation Engineers, and American Council of Engineering Consultants (ACEC).

After earning a degree in civil engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, Keiser attended Texas A&M University, graduating with a master’s degree in civil engineering. She is a licensed professional engineer in New Jersey and is a professional traffic operations engineer. A native of the northeast, Keiser lives in the New York City metropolitan area.

Terracon Names Christopher McIntyre Senior Vice President and Florida Division Manager

Jacksonville, Fla.Terracon, a leading national consulting engineering firm comprised of engineers, scientists, architects, facilities experts, and field professionals, announces Christopher L. McIntyre, P.E., has been named senior vice president and Florida Division manager.

The strategic change is designed to support client service, innovation, and project delivery as the company continues to grow its presence in Florida and the southeastern U.S. Drawing on nearly 16 years of experience, McIntyre will assume responsibility for overseeing the safety, leadership, growth, and strategic direction of Terracon’s Florida Division.

After graduating from Florida State University with a degree in civil engineering, McIntyre relocated to northern Virginia, where he spent the first eight years of his career. During this time, he earned a Master of Engineering degree from George Mason University and obtained his professional engineering license. In 2013, McIntyre decided to return to his Florida roots and relocated to Jacksonville, where he launched his career with Terracon.

McIntyre is actively involved in the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Florida Engineering Society (FES), American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), and the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE). Additionally, he has successfully completed the FES Florida Engineering Leadership Institute and the ACEC Pathways to Executive Leadership program.

Terracon Announces Power Generation and Transmission Leadership Additions

OLATHE, Kan.Terracon, a leading national consulting engineering firm comprised of engineers, scientists, architects, facilities experts, and field professionals announces strategic changes to support client service, innovation, and project delivery as the company continues to grow in the power generation and transmission (PG&T) sector.

As the company continues to refine its organization to support continued growth, two key leadership roles have been filled:

Eddie Norse, Jr.

Eddie Norse, Jr., PMP, has joined Terracon as a program manager and senior associate. With more than 40 years of experience in project and program management, Norse is focused on developing and delivering an innovative programmatic approach to improve project delivery and meet the needs of Terracon’s national PG&T clients. He earned a bachelor of science in business management degree from the University of Phoenix, and a master’s certificate in project management from The George Washington University. Norse is based in Overland Park, Kansas.

Chawn Stich

Chawn Stich has rejoined Terracon as a client development manager and senior associate. Bringing more than 25 years of varied engineering experience in the A/E/C industry to his role, Stich is dedicated to providing an excellent client experience to Terracon’s national PG&T clients. A recipient of the Engineer’s Club of St. Louis Award of Merit in 2021, he currently serves on the organization’s board. Stich is based in St. Louis.

Mike Hagemeister promoted to environmental service line director

Mike Hagemeister, P.E., has been promoted to environmental service line director, charged with leading this growing service line. With a balanced passion for the environment and people, Hagemeister is leading a diverse team of over 1,200 environmental professionals with the focus of partnering with clients to deliver innovative environmental solutions for a safe, sustainable, and prosperous future. In nearly 30 years with Terracon, he has held several roles, including field engineer, environmental engineer, and environmental department manager in the company’s Omaha office. Prior to his current position, Hagemeister was responsible for leading and supporting environmental consulting across the central United States.

Mike Covert promoted to executive vice president for services and quality

Fort Worth, TexasTerracon, a leading national consulting engineering firm comprised of engineers, scientists, architects, facilities experts, and field professionals, announces a strategic organizational change to support client service, innovation, and project delivery as the company continues to grow.

Mike Covert, P.G., has been promoted to executive vice president for services and quality. In this role, he is responsible for the continued growth and evolution of Terracon’s service lines, quality and project delivery, and sustainability. He previously served as senior vice president and national environmental service line director. Covert also served in other leadership roles since joining Terracon in 1998 as part of the acquisition of HBC Engineering.

With more than 35 years of experience, Covert holds a master’s degree in environmental science from the University of Texas at Dallas and a bachelor’s degree in geology from Southern Methodist University. He also earned a master’s degree in business administration from Baker University. Covert has been a contributor to the American Society of Testing Materials (ASTM) E50 Committee and served as the chair of the Environmental Business Council for the Geoprofessional Business Association (GBA). He is based in Terracon’s Forth Worth office.
