Geotechnical

Instrumentation

If it settles, moves, squeezes, stretches, or stays still, we can monitor and quantify the change. On your project site, or from a remote location, our extensive experience with the installation and monitoring of various types of geotechnical instrumentation includes standpipe piezometers to optical time domain reflectory (OTDR). Our geotechnical expertise allows us to select a combination of equipment and sensors for determining and monitoring the critical soil or rick parameters, as well as terrain and structure movement. With installation of automated data acquisition systems (ADAS) or remote telemetry stations, we can monitor and analyze remotely and in real-time with web-hosted data.

We can design and install systems and interpret or provide data for analysis by your project design team. Our geographically dispersed national presence allows us to serve projects at the local level with support from a network of experienced specialists. Our extensive fleet of truck and all-terrain drill rigs and exploration equipment allow us to control both the schedule and quality of installation. No project is too simple or complex.

Our monitoring systems can include, but are not limited to:

  • Inclinometers
  • Vibrating wire piezometers
  • Extensometers
  • Tiltmeters
  • Telemetry
  • Crack monitors
  • Building and terrain settlement monitoring

We are here to help you select the best monitoring for your project’s condition and budgetary needs.
