NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Laura Reinbold, P.E., LEED AP, national account manager for Terracon, has been named a recipient of one of the Women of Influence Awards by the Nashville Business Journal. Awards were presented during a ceremony in Nashville on February 9.
Thirty-one women were recognized for standing out in their fields, bringing their businesses to the forefront, and helping others achieve success, according to Alison Nash, the Nashville Business Journal‘s associate editor. Reinbold is being recognized in the Trailblazer category for her dedication to connecting women with opportunities for leadership, for career, and for advancement within the architecture, engineering, and construction fields.
“This is certainly an honor for me,” Reinbold said. “I have been an active member of the Nashville community for many years and thoroughly enjoy working and living here. The Women of Influence awards are a wonderful way to recognize women who commit their talents and time to making this area an even better place to live.”
As national account manager and professional engineer, Reinbold directs client development in the Nashville region and nationally for Terracon. She has more than 30 years of experience in business development and corporate operations.
Reinbold’s numerous professional and community affiliations include: 2016-2017 president of the international Geoprofessional Business Association (GBA) where she became the first female board member and now president; appointment to the Tennessee Board of Architectural and Engineering Examiners; membership chair for the president’s advisory council for the Nashville District Council of the Urban Land Institute; and the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce (Partnership 2020, leadership mission study groups, economic development committee, and chamber south leadership board).
In addition, she is active with the Tennessee State University advisory board to the Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering; American Council of Engineering Companies (Tennessee Chapter); Rotary International (downtown Nashville chapter); and the Breakfast Club of Nashville.
Reinbold holds a bachelor of engineering in civil engineering from Vanderbilt University and is LEED accredited.
