Remediation innovation: Restoring contaminated soil
Legacy oil and gas production activities left thousands of acres across North Dakota dormant and unusable due to brine contamination. Terracon’s environmental experts spent two years of field and laboratory research developing a method for the North Dakota Industrial Commission to transform its brine-contaminated sites into productive farmland. Now, land can be back into production within weeks – and costs are reduced up to 97%.

The latest 13.5-mile expansion to Minnesota’s METRO Light Rail system will enhance transit service and economic growth for the Minneapolis-St. Paul area.
